Is this letter anti-Semitic?

YOUR
comments on the article “My son attends a Jewish
nursery, says Blunkett”.

I CANNOT help sympathising with the general point you appear to be making: that one ought to be able to point out that someone guilty of wrongdoing ( or, for that matter, of some good deed) happens to be Jewish.

To conceal the fact of his Jewishness under the pretence that such information is of no relevance, only serves, in my opinion, to distort reality. A
Jewish person ought not to be able to give the false impression that he is a gentile and that he has no Jewish connections. This is unfair to the gentile!

You say it is cowardly that the media are not allowed to tell you outright that the whorish
Kimberley Quinn is Jewish, or that the dodgy financier Peter Green is Jewish.

There is a reason for this, Mr Irving. Too much truth can lead to hate, and hate is dangerous.

  • It is perhaps best to conceal from the
public the fact that most of the Russian
oligarchs — who stole much of the Soviet
Union’s “family silver”, remember — happen to
    be Jewish!
  • It is also best not to advertise to the
world that the crooked Robert Maxwell was
Jewish, as is the equally dishonest Lady
    Porter
of Westminster fame — now a
    fugitive
    from justice in Israel!
  • Nor is it wise to mention the fact that the
    number of Jews in the

    pornography industry is
overwhelmingly high — in fact, quite out of all
proportion to their numbers. I understand that
the world’s most famous porn actor, for example,
renowned for the size of his penis, is Jewish.
    His name is Ron Jeremy.

To remain silent about all this is unfortunately necessary if we wish to retain our credentials for political correctness. However, it seems to me only fair, in the interests of historical accuracy, that, if we are to be told how many Nobel Prize winners — how many famous novelists and film directors and actors — are Jewish, that we ought to be told about all the others who are equally outstanding for their infamy.

Otherwise we are guilty of double standards.
It’s my hope that you will not think this letter anti-Semitic. I have nothing but the highest regard for outstanding Jews such as Noam Chomsky
and Norman
Finkelstein
. Though I reserve the right to detest such Jews as the the war criminal Ariel
Sharon
, and the torture advocate and plagiarist
Alan Dershowitz — a disgrace to Harvard
University where he aspires to teach Law.

To conclude: we ought to be free to call a Jew a Jew without being stigmatized.
