[images and captions added by this website] Tuesday, October 25, 2005 European arrest warrant Belgian revisionist to be extradited from Holland to Germany A correspondent reports*: BRUSSELS --THIS summer, on August 5, 2005, Siegfried Verbeke, an active Belgian revisionist (see our messages of April 15), who was the subject of a "European arrest warrant" issued in July 2004 by the Mannheim public prosecutor (Germany), was detained at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport [Holland] while traveling to the Philippines. His wife is a citizen of that country. Since that date he has been held in jail awaiting the judges' return from vacation and their finally taking an interest in his case. The verdict has just been announced: He may be extradited to Germany! It is possible that he may yet appeal this sentence but he has no illusions about the outcome. We do not yet know more for the moment, but we shall revert to this affair as soon as possible. The net is tightening. It is for us to make a move while making these repressions known all around us. * French text: Pendant l'été, le vendredi 5 août, Siegfried Verbeke, actif révisionniste belge (voy. nos messages du 15 avril) qui avait fait l'objet d'un mandat d'arrêt européen lancé en juillet 2004 par le parquet de Mannheim (Allemagne), avait été interpellé à l'aéroport de Schiphol-Amsterdam alors qu'il se rendait aux Philippines (sa femme est originaire de ce pays) et était, depuis cette date, retenu en prison en attendant que les juges veuillent bien rentrer de leurs vacances et, enfin, s'occuper de son dossier. Le verdict vient de tomber: il devra être extradé vers l'Allemagne! Il peut encore faire appel de cette sentence mais ne se fait pas d'illusion. Nous n'en savons pas plus pour le moment mais reviendrons sur l'affaire dès que possible. Décidément, les mailles se resserrent.
