Hitler’s role in the Final Solution, still disputed
HERE’S the argument: In reply to someone who talked of facts in history but criticized you, I replied, “What do you know of facts? The most factual historian is David Irving, whom you deride.”
His response was, “P., (my handle in this debate), you have lost your graphite! For example, to ‘prove’ that Hitler knew nothing of the extermination of Jews, Irving quoted a memo from an administrator that related to mixed marriages and nothing more. That’s gross distortion of fact and it is only one example of Irving’s dirty work. He was proved a liar and Holocaust denier in court.”
