IN THE West we’re always hearing about how
incredibly advanced our military technology is, how our
spy satellites can pinpoint the tiniest insignificant
details of our daily lives, and how our missiles have
attained such high degrees of precision unimaginable only
a few years ago.

What a pity all these technological wonders didn’t allow NATO to find out more about train timetables.

On the website of the German Railways (http://bahn.hafas.de) anyone can check how the Beograd- Skopje D393 service leaves Belgrade at 6:15 am to arrive at Grdelica at
11:32, from where it leaves again at 11:34.

Just in time to find itself on the Juzna Morava bridge eleven minutes later, exactly on the trajectory of NATO’s
“smart” missile.
