asks
why we reproduce a hostile cartoon
about Hans Blix

Not
a nice cartoon about Hans Blix

[Hans Blix]I
NOTICED your cartoon suggesting Dr Hans Blix could not find milk despite its plentitude.

I hope you are not becoming a neocon apologist for genocide in suggesting that as the director of
UNMOVIC, Dr Blix was inept and incapable of completing his mission.

I know the cartoonist, and the intent of the cartoon is to spread the impression that the inspectors failed and the American holocaust was necessary for WMD counterproliferation.

Am I misreading this cartoon or are you sir?

David Irving replies

— I LIKE occasionally to present the other side of an argument; I think Hans
Blix
did his job well, but for my money he was too vague in his reports, which provided the wiggle-room the warmongers needed.
