has a question,
, about the Auschwitz death statistics

Auschwitz, and those who didn’t die there

HAVE you or anyone else ever explained what happened with the 2.5 million people who did not die after all in Auschwitz?

We know that the plaque at the camp was changed from 4 million to 1.5 or 1.3 million, but there was never a reason given for such a correction.

The very fact that the plaque was altered indicates that the appropriate authorities, both Polish and German, must have agreed with such a change, yet we still constantly hear references to six million Jews having been exterminated by the Germans.

The camp commandant Rudolf
Höss
“admitted” that he exterminated 3 million, which still does not match the present number showing on the plaque.

The only conclusion that I can draw is that two of the numbers are outright lies — the question is which two.

I have read the document in which the German government indicates approval for the change from 4 million to 1.5
million (I believe that it was around 1997 or 1998), yet my understanding is that it is unlawful to question this action.

Can one ask if the Israeli government ever paid back the difference to the German government they collected on behalf of these non-existent victims or is that too a crime in
Germany?

Sincerely yours,

Paul
