Documents on the allegation about
lampshades made from human skin
Eager to earn money from tourists, and to curry favour with the traditional enemies of the truth, the present German government has uncritically taken over the propaganda exhibits of the old communist regime.
Introduction:
parallel with the legend
about Nazi factories boiling down corpses of their victims to manufacture human soap the story gained currency, thanks to the war crimes trials, that Nazi camp staff had made lampshades from human skins of their victims.
In
the Pathologie building in Sachsenhausen
(PHOTO ABOVE) the German government still displays photos
that pretend these lampshades existed. The caption to the
middle pictures reads: “Tattoos and lampshade of human
skin”
