Who hanged Kramer?
I AM conducting some historical research concerning an old friend of mine, Bill
Pilkington who died last year aged
87.
Bill was a member of SOE [Special Operations
Executive] and I believe that he was the scaffold officer at the execution of Kramer
[above right, last commandant of the Nazi concentration camp at
Bergen-Belsen]. I am trying to authenticate this with either documentary photographic or eye witness evidence.
I wonder of you might be able to assist me in any way or point me in the right direction
