Anliegende Karteikarte wird hier nicht nur für die Krematorium-verwaltung, sondern insbesondere noch für das Standesamt benötigt. Urnen und
Urkundenanforderungen sind so hoch, daß ohne
Such - und Vermerkkartei nicht ausgekommen werden kann.

Das standesamtliche alphabetische Namensverzeichnis wird erst am Jahresschluß geschrieben und ein provisorisches Namensverzeichnis erfüllt nicht den
Zweck, da die täglichen Beurkundungsziffern selten unter 300 liegen.

Außerdem erscheinen auf der Karteikarte sämtliche Vermerke über ein- und abgehende
Schreiben, sowie gesetzl. Mitteilungen an Standesämter,
Meldebehörden, Amtsgerichte und Jugendämter, alle
Urkundenanforderungen werden vermerkt, so daß mit einem Blick sämtliche über einen verstorbenen
Häftling vorhandenen Vorgänge übersehen werden können, was bei der jährlichen
Beurkundungsziffern von ca 40.000 Fällen außerordentlich wichtig ist.

Attached index card is needed here not only for the crematorium management but especially for the Registrar’s
Office. Applications for urns and certificates are so great that we cannot manage without a card search- and annotation-index.

The alphabetical Registrar List is only written up at the year’s end and a provisional name list does not fulfil the purpose as the daily [death-] certification rate rarely drops below 300.

Moreover on the index card appear all annotations as to
In- and Out- letters as well as mandatory notifications to
Registrars, report agencies, magistrates, and youth offices, all requests for certificates are registered so that at a glance all items on file referring to each deceased prisoner can be reviewed, which is extremely important given an annual certification rates of approx. 40,000 cases.
