" The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B'nai Brith, USA other traditional enemies of Free Speech: Anti-Nazi League Australian Government Australian B'nai Brith Anti-Defamation Commission Board of Deputies of British Jews Center for Democratic Renewal, Atlanta Canadian Jewish Congress Canadian League of Human Rights of the B'nai Brith Coalition for Human Dignity, Oregon Community Security Trust of Board of Deputies German Government Jewish Telegraph Agency Searchlight and Gerald Gable Simon Wiesenthal Center Surfwatch Internet censorship In 1993 it was revealed that the ADL had illegally penetrated US and San Francisco Police Department and made illegal use of their databases. ADL officials were prosecuted for this felony, and subsequently reached an out of court settlement with the District Attorney under which they paid a substantial penalty . Finally, some of the records seized from Tom Gerard's premises are San Francisco Police Department records that are more than ten years old. These files were in the process of being purged before their removal from this department. Because review of these documents would require more resources than the Department can commit to this project at this time, we will not be reviewing these records in conjunction with your request.
