The idea is to explore the nature of the far right in Canada as discussed in an updated version of his investigative work; the nature of “Hate Crime”; how free speech is under siege in Canada (my view).As the world intellectual voice of the politically controversial, you are free to position yourself as a calm, misunderstood voice who wants to see proportion in history and a return to historical method — an innocent bystander as it were!FYI: I agree with the notion that the Nazis (to put it
glibly) didn’t much like the Jews and wanted to get rid of them anyway they could (your friend Browning “Path To Genocide”; Mein Kampf wasn’t exactly an ethnic ringing endorsement; the Nuremburg Laws were not very friendly either — your thoughts on Wansee?). But I disagree with making dissenting voices like yours squelched — whether I agree with your assertions or not.I want to be trusted and honest with you. It is important that I have that as the basis of our relationship.
There will be hard questions, but no ambushes.My station is commercial and very popular — with lots of promotion behind its re-launch as MOJO Radio AM 640 (www.mojoradio.com)>From 5 PM to 6 PM my program on the law “Cover Your Ass” (hard-bitten and profane in legal matters) features an exclusive interview with famous TV Host John Walsh Of “America’s Most Wanted”.
At 5:30 PM I’ll have a live phone call with author David Matas in Madrid whose book “Bloody Words” decries absolute free speech — an anti-anti-semite in other words.I think you’ll have some fun and stir things up once again…besides detractors there area David, a lot of closet Irving fans out there that think the sun shines out of your bottom!
