envoy to UK recalled

THE
French ambassador to the United
Kingdom, who has used expletives to describe Israel, has been recalled.

Daniel Bernard [Bernard]reportedly told luncheon guests in London last year that current troubles in the world were caused by Israel, and used an expletive adjective [sh*tty] to describe the country. The luncheon was hosted by the chairman [Conrad
Black] of Hollinger
International, the company that owns the Jerusalem Post, and his wife
[Barbara Amiel], a
London columnist.
