This Brave Free World: Westminster City Library Service, for which ratepayers (including David Irving himself) pay, has decided secretly to remove all 30 of his books (publ. 1963-1996) from its shelves and place them in its reserve stocks. We doubt that this is to avoid vandalism. No doubt the traditional enemies of free speech can again claim the credit. You may wish to write applauding the libraries for their far-sightedness; or to express some other opinion. The address of the libraries chief is Andrew Stevens -- Westminster Libraries Manager Charing Cross Library, 4 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HF -- or send him an e-mail (click below).
