Unless correspondents ask us not to, this Website will post selected letters that it receives and invite open debate.
Gary S. Redish, a Jewish gentleman of New Jersey, USA, remarks on the funding of Mr Irving's legal actions
Full of you-know-what
BOY, David you are full of you-know-what. You sued in [the] UK because of [the] status of English libel laws vs US to shake Defendants down for money. You lost every motion and appeal -- the case is over -- period.
As to Guardian case you are not pushing it for whatever reason and I believe it will get dismissed by Courts for what we call in US "lack of prosecution by plaintiff".
Also I would not be bragging on line that I was working in USA (your "well attended conference over Labor Day") if I were you. The US and UK taxing authorities may be interested -- as may INS

THANK YOU.SINCE the beginning of the Lipstadt action, the hatred-filled Mr Redish has often sent us obscene or offensive hate-mail, to which we have not responded, although it may be racially motivated and thus fall under US hate-crime laws. Usually our mail filters have caught the items.
On May 22, 2002 newspapers reported the negative outcome of Mr Irving's appeal in the British High Court. Mr Redish wrote on that occasion a gloating letter headed: "Next home: A cardboard box in The Strand" We printed the letter. Mr Redish then went whingeing to Mr Irving's London lawyers
DAVID IRVING writes:
FOR once you will get an answer:
You write: "You sued in [the] UK because of [the] status of English libel laws vs US to shake Defendants down for money. You lost every motion and appeal -- the case is over -- period."
- "You lost every motion" -- On the contrary, I won every interlocutary action but one; the battle was lost when it came before another judge, namely Judge Gray.
- Odd that you should use the term "shakedown". As you well know, I am not, and was not interested in money, unlike your fellow religionists whose greed is legendary and (in my view) the cause of most of their misfortunes in history (The Holocaust Industry, a real shakedown, being a case in point); the defendants Penguin and Lipstadt were offered not once, but twice, the chance of settling the action in return for a modest token payment, not to me but to a charity for the limbless. They preferred to waste Six Million dollars of their shareholders money in rigging the High Court to their satisfaction. Beat that!
- As for your remarks about Cincinnati and my increasingly popular annual Real History convention: We have now held this non-profit making function for five years running, and paid all State (Kentucky) and federal sales and other taxes that are due. Pick another argument.
I suspect ... that you are just against Free Speech, like most of your friends, and interested in doing whatever you can to abrogate it.
