Rare words of praise for Mr Irving I WOULD like to use this opportunity to thank you for allowing me attend your talk in Lancashire on Friday night [January 25, 2008]. It was a night I will never forget and it was a true honour to spend an evening in such esteemed company. In my political life I come into regular contact with many interesting individuals, but rarely do I feel I am in the company of someone who is a true historical figure, but you are different and do genuinely have an aura of greatness. As you said on Friday night; in one hundred years time - it will be your works that will be the reference books used for scholars when studying the events leading to and including WWII. You will be remembered when all the others are forgotten! Please put me on your mailing list and keep me informed of any future speaking engagements in the NW of England as I would be keen to attend.
