Dresden and other books
I RECENTLY finished reading your book The Destruction of Dresden and I must say it was impressive. It is the first book by Mr. Irving that I have read, and definately not the last. Your reasearch was incredible, almost overwhelming at times, but I managed. Every question I had was answered. Very Good!
One thing I have a hard time understanding is, how at 23 I have never learned one thing about WWII, in the public school system, other then an hour discussion about the Battle of the Bulge.
I now hold a slightly different view of that part of history, and am greatly anticipating reading Churchills War I & II. Once again, great work Mr. Irving.
