Prof Paul M. Hedeen of Iowa has some questions, Saturday, November 1, 2003, about Eva Braun

typewriter

Eva Braun --

Eva BraunIs there any record that Eva Braun ever volunteered service to the German Red Cross? -- I do not think she did. Joseph Goebbels's wife Magda did, and so did the wife of Hitler's personal adjutant Alwin-Broder Albrecht. I think Eva was reserved for, ahem, more important work.

What is the best history for information on Eva Braun, especially her early years. --

David Irving

David Irving responds:

BEST sources? -- A book by my late friend Glenn Infield, Adolf and Eva. See also my late friend Nerin Gun's biography of her. Incidentally, she wrote a film script for a coloured movie film on her life, entitled Eva Braun, which is owned by another friend, historian Mark Bando, and he let me have a copy of that and of her book of school Italian essays.
