An e-mail to President G W Bush
I READ many of your books. In my opinion you are one of the greatest historians of the last fifty years. The struggle of men like you for truth and freedom is for us the hope that western civilization will not desappear, notwithstading failures ,cowardice and betrayal of our ruling classes. I e-mailed president Bush yesterday: "Remember WW2 allied terror-bombing and the millions of innocent people who died under these bombs and in 'other' lager , in USA, Canada and USSR . My father was among them. I pray for him and for innocent victims in New York and Washington".
Sincerely yours,
An airman who refused to bomb Belgrade.
