THANK you for sending me your book "Nuremberg the Last Battle". Special thanks for signing it personally. I cannot put it down. I thought I knew a great deal about this trial, but you brought points into focus that should become text book material for our schools.
It makes me shudder to think that the Western Democracies were so duplicitous. I am one of those who listened to the radio broadcasts of the trial and I remember cheering with the people around us when Goring took the stand. It was the one small satisfaction we got at that time. You cannot imagine the hate that was expressed towards those acquitted or those which performed like cowards. Of course, now I realize that what seemed to us cowardice was in fact lack of ability to defend themselves properly.
This book is one of the Best you have written, if not THE BEST, until now.
