Diane Schreiber spots more errors in the Olère sketches of Auschwitz, Saturday, October 16, 2004 ![]()
David Olère's drawings of Auschwitz (3) The guard at left of the picture with "the camp doctor", wearing a man's uniform, appears to have breasts. The Medical officer is wearing an Allgemeine-SS Officer's visor (Black) cap which would not have been worn after 1939, as they all switched to a field grey colour. All the pictures display sort of a lurid pornographic quality and are generally tasteless. None of these cartoons is a historical depiction. For Mr Justice Gray to consider any as "evidence" was ridiculous.
