I am replying on behalf of Sir John Birt in his absence on leave. I hope by now you will have received Nick Fraser's reply, which makes his position clear. Should you feel dissatisfied with his response, it is open to you to write to the Head of Programme Complaints, Fraser Steel, and ask him to look into the matter.
