University reports: "A crucial source of the Holocaust has now been
published in an detailed and thoroughly commentated
edition: The appointment book of Heinrich Himmler
1941/42. "For a long time this document has been
considered as being lost and has been found a few
years ago in the Osobyi Archive in Moscow. This
record includes not only Himmler's dates but also
notes of him about the topics of his talks and
several minutes by hand about his conferences with
Hitler, largely of them unknown. (The first review
of this edition has just been published by the
weekly German newspaper DIE ZEIT, 18.3.1999) Bibliographical data: 800 pages,
illustrations, DM 128,00. |
