"Wer
Jude ist bestimme ich!" So
Hermann Göring used to brag. When ugly rumours
were spread by jealous rivals, primarily Theo
Croneiss, that Erhard Milch, founder of Lufthansa
and No. 2 in the German Air Ministry, was really a Jew,
Göring investigated (as, independently in the 1960s,
did Milch-biographer David
Irving).
The result was startling, and Milch pleaded with Irving not
to reveal it in his or his mother's lifetime. While his
legal father was in fact Jewish (Anton Milch, of Breslau),
Milch's real father, Irving had discovered, was his mother's
Uncle, wealthy Berlin architect Carl Bräuer.
This secret Prussian document below has now surfaced in
former Soviet Zone archives, confirming the
story.
