Günter Deckert wurde am 12. August 1998 vom Amtsgericht Bruchsal (Az: 57 Js 24484/97) zu weiteren drei Monaten Kerker verurteilt.

Jetzt sind es insgesamt 55 Monate Kerker, die Günter Deckert wegen politisch inkorrekten Äußerungen absitzen muß. Wahrscheinlich wird das Verfolgungsregime ihm noch viele weitere Schau-Prozesse machen, um ihn als politische Führungspersönlichkeit lebenslänglich auszuschalten. 24 Monate erhielt der Märtyrer für Deutschland wegen der Abkürzung des Wortes Holocaust mit „Holo".

27 Monate für die Veröffentlichung des ersten gegen ihn ergangenen Urteils sowie wegen Worte des Historikers Irving, die dieser auf der von Deckert organisierten Veranstaltung überhaupt nicht sagte, aber laut Anklage hätte sagen können. Einen Monat Kerker erhielt er, weil er die Zerstörung seiner Wohnung durch ein Einsatzkommando der Polizei mit Stasi-Methoden verglich.

Und jetzt drei Monate, weil er Herrn Mannheimer einige Fragen über dessen KZ-Aufenthalt in Dachau stellte. Die Fragen waren Mannheimer unangenehm, weil sie ihn mit Widersprüchen konfrontierten. Die Urteilsbegründung lautet auf "Zweifel am Verfolgungsschicksal" eines Holocaut-Überlebenden.

Jetzt wissen wir's also. Das Unrechts-Regime bestraft "Zweifel" mit mindestens drei Monaten Haft. Die Deutschen werden für etwas bestraft, was sie - wie alle anderen Menschen auch - von der Natur mit in die Wiege gelegt bekommen haben. Jeder Mensch zweifelt, das ist naturbedingt.

MAGISTRATES AT Bruchsal, Germany, sentenced Günter Deckert on August 12 to three more months in jail [we have only just learned].

He now has a total of fifty-five months jail to serve for politically incorrect remarks. It is probable that the regime will conduct further show trials against him even then in order to neutralise him as a political leader for the rest of his life.

This German martyr was first sentenced to twenty-four months for irreverently abbreviating the word Holocaust to "Holo." He was given a further twenty-seven months for publishing the first judgment against him, and for words allegedly spoken by David Irving, which he did not in fact say (but which according to the indictment Mr Irving might have intended to say.)

Another one month's jail was added because he compared the destruction of his home by a police unit to the methods of the [East German] Stasi secret police.

Now three more months, because he asked Mr Mannheimer some awkward questions about his stay at the Dachau concentration camp. The questions were awkward, because they confronted Mannheimer with evident contradictions.

The basis for the new sentence is "expressing doubts about the persecution" of a Holocaust survivor. So there we have it.

The regime punishes "doubts" with a minimum of three months jail. Germans are punished for doing something they have learned ever since the cradle: to doubt, like any other human being.

Thank you for your letters of 25 June and 5 August 1998 to Ambassador Gebhardt von Moltke concerning Günter Deckert. The Ambassador asked me to reply to you on his behalf.

After the arrival of your letter of 25 June 1998 I forwarded it to authorities in Germany and I am still waiting for their reaction which might take considerable time, bearing in mind the holiday season.

I am sorry for not having acknowledged the receipt of your first letter, but I had hoped for a quicker reaction of authorities in Germany which would have made an acknowledgement of the receipt of your letter unnecessary.
