Today Democratic Candidate for
President John Kerry issued the following
statement on anti-Semitic statements by Saudi
government officials: David
Irving comments: KERRY sinks ever lower
in our esteem; is it really impossible now
for some other suitable candidate to step
forward? Kerry now joins the ranks of
those who automatically equate opposition
to Zionism with "anti-Semitism." The fact is: He
knows as little as we do about who is
really behind such "terrorist
outrages". It may indeed be
al-Qaeda, or it may be people with much to
gain from such global unrest. Hence, it
may be the Zionists. Kerry's is a knee-jerk
reaction, from which the only clear
message to emerge is that, if elected, he
will be totally beholden to the Israeli
lobby -- which will mean more of the same
for the American taxpayer, and for the
image of Americans in the rest of the
world. | "Saudi Arabian Crown
Prince Abdullah's outrageous anti-Semitic
comments this week blaming 'Zionists' for the
terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia raises serious
questions about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's
commitment to combating terrorism."President Bush has said nothing. As
President, I will never permit this kind of attack
to go unanswered." © 2004
