Juristenenglisch z.T. große
Verständnisschwierigkeiten bereitet, bin ich Ihnen
für die Übersetzung sehr dankbar.
Ich bin ein Student aus Österreich und beschäftige mich seit meinem 15. Lebensjahr mit Ihren Argumenten und denen der "Gegenseite".
Nun bin ich auf der Suche nach solchen Argumenten auf ein Bild gestoßen, die auf der Nizkor-Seite veröffentlicht wurden und Ihnen sicherlich bekannt ist (siehe Attachment):

Auf der Nizkor Seite wird behauptet, es handle sich um die (noch im Krieg?) zugemauerten Einwurflöcher für Zyklon B. Was halten Sie davon? Ihre Aussage ging ja im Prozeß davon aus, daß diese Löcher nicht vorhanden seien.
Handelt es sich bei diesen Bildern Ihrer geschätzten Meinung nach um Fälschungen?

A GOOD question. The holes described by the various (five or six) post-war "eye-witnesses" are no longer visible in the roof of Krema II. For that we have the testimony of neutral (fee: $250,000) expert witness Robert Van Pelt in his expert Report in the Lipstadt trial that the holes can not be seen in the Krema II roof slab today. So this hole, visible in this photograph, cannot be one of the Zyklon-B entry holes in Krema II. In fact the link you gave shows a hole of about 15cms diameter with bent reinforcing bars, crudely plugged with cement: that does not match the 27cm size given by the "eye-witnesses". is different, showing the characteristic "drying line" that would be evident around a recently-plugged hole in fair-face finish concrete in Krema II, as I argued in Court: trial transcript, Day 9, January 25, 2000. We do know from The Times (April 12, 2000) that the Auschwitz authorities carried out a renewed search for the holes in the roof slab at the time of the trial, rising to my challenge; they did not publish their findings. Of course, the truthfulness of the "eye-witnesses" rests on finding those holes. It is not plain from the Nizkor website which structure these holes as photographed are found in, or when they were plugged -- during the war, after the war, or quite recently. Perhaps you or Nizkor can enlighten us? Since Daniel Keren appears to have posted these photographs on the Nizkor website in May 1999, seven months before the trial began, and the Defence made no attempt to introduce them in Court, we are entitled to assume that they are not from Krema II, which Robert Van Pelt identified as the "factory of death" where, he says, Nazis armed with Zyklon-B murdered half a million people.
