We are faxing to you the text of the German paper on which O.BO1320 is based, along with a copy of the section 189 of the (German) crimes act which specifies the offence of 'defamation of the memory of the dead'. Embassy translation of section 189 is: (part 14: defamation) "section 189. Defamation of the memory of the dead: any person defaming the memory of the dead is punishable by up to two years imprisonment or with a fine." 

2. In O.BO1320 we requested an information copy and/or summary of the decision of the full bench of the Federal Court, along with any other information on the consideration of this case in Australia, in order to continue dialogue and reinforce cooperation with German federal and state contacts. Grateful your response.
